Our Saturday Matinees are staffed by CRB-checked childcare professionals and additional volunteers. Parents can leave their children with us while they go shopping*, or just enjoy a couple of hours of ‘quiet time’. As with the Friday nights, our film choice will be out of the ordinary… no latest Hollywood blockbusters here. Animations from around the world; classic stories; vintage films. Your child will experience something new, unusual, memorable. In the pipeline are: The Railway Children; Ponyo; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; James and the Giant Peach.

We will require a mobile phone number in order to contact you in the case of an emergency, but otherwise, leave it up to us!

*Please note minimum age for unaccompanied children is 5. Maximum age of entry is 14 unless accompanying a child. Soft drinks and healthy snacks will be available. Childcare provision is subject to numbers: we reserve the right to ask parents to stay if we do not have sufficient numbers of carers. Early arrival is therefore advisable.
